Sicilian chef Laura Geraci offers you a fine Mediterranean meal prepared and served in the comfort of your own house. Prices start at £20 - £25 for a 3-4 course meal. We cater for business lunches too.
Cookery courses are also available in the Thornbury area or, if you prefer, Laura can teach you how to cook mouth-watering dishes in your own kitchen. Group cookery sessions can be organised to meet your own requirements or you can choose to have one-to-one sessions.
Pomodoro Mediterranean Catering essentially offers two main services:
· Cookery courses either in groups or individually tailored, both in rented premises or in your own kitchen. It’s great fun to get cooking together as part of a social gathering, then chill out and enjoy the tasty outcome!
Also our Gourmet Gift Certificates are very popular at the moment, as you can give a cookery lesson as a present. These are normally for about 2 people and also include printed recipes to recreate all the dishes.
· A dinner party service where I am your personal chef in your own house: I can cater up to about 20 people for a full 3 or 4 course meal, or I can cater up to 40 or 60 people if what you want is more of an informal dinner or lunch or you would just like a finger buffet. I also do business light lunches.
As a good Mediterranean, I believe that it is important to savour a meal in good company and in all tranquillity so that’s why I love providing a quality catering service that people can enjoy. Every so often cooking a sumptuous dinner for family and friends inevitably means having to miss out on some of the catching up that usually goes on at such events. ‘Pomodoro’ gives people the opportunity to relax fully while enjoying a special meal with friends. As a general quote, you can expect to pay from about £20-£25 per head for a 4 course meal. The shopping, the cooking and even the serving and the clearing up are all inclusive. Of course, you can always choose not to have me around to serve the meal, in which case you can certainly say you have prepared it all on your own.
