Silver Award for Alveston House Hotel

Congratulations to Alveston House Hotel on being awarded a prestigious Silver Award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme.  The award recognises their commitment to Green issues and their constant awareness of the impact they make on the environment as a business.  To gain the award Alveston House had to provide evidence of how they try to make a difference.  As a business they pay careful attention to energy usage, wastage, water consumption and ethical purchasing.  Guests visiting the hotel are increasingly mindful of the importance of running a business in an environmentally friendly way and have responded well to their Responsible Visitor Charter.
